Fill The Pantry ProgramIMG_0153

Fill the pantry is a new program for Greeley Area Habitat for Humanity. The program was designed to offer an opportunity for our younger supporters to make a real difference in the lives of our families. It all starts with a small Habitat bank, which in time is filled with change, which will then be used to purchase food to fill the pantries of our families before they move into their new homes. We will receive food from the Weld Food Bank and use funds to purchase other items for the pantries. 50 cents could feed a family a decent meal. Imagine what a whole bank full could do.

Our banks are currently in each classroom in Jefferson High School, and we are hoping to have the program spread quickly all over Weld County.

If you are interested in this program or other ways to get involved, please contact Kaylae, our Volunteer Coordinator.
