Weld County Home Rehabilitation Loan Program Details
Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity is partnering with Weld County to implement the Home Rehabilitation Loan Program.
Program Summary and Qualifications
Loan amount up to $25,000 – amount determined by repair cost and income
Very low interest
Repayment based on income or deferred repayment for Seniors
Applicant must be recorded owner on the deed and have lived in home for 1 year
Home must be insured
Land must be owned – mobile homes
Home located outside of Greeley city limits in Weld County
For purpose of critical home repair or health and safety issues
For homeowners within the income limits of 80% of area median income:

Begin by completing the application. The application is available at the Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity office located at 104 N. 16th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634 or you may download it here. Please return completed application to the Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity office at 104 N. 16th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
Include the following documents with your application:
Verification of all household income
Proof of homeowner insurance
Verification of asset greater than $5,000 (collectively or individually)
The Weld County Housing Authority will contact you to schedule an application review appointment.
Once applicant is determined eligible for the Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program, Habitat for Humanity will conduct an inspection of the home to determine the necessary repairs. The full scope of the work will be detailed in writing and agreed upon by the homeowner, Weld County Housing Authority and Habitat for Humanity. Loan repayment terms and agreement will be signed.
Home repair will be scheduled and completed according to the agreement.

The City of Greeley offers housing rehabilitation and winterization assistance in the form of low or no interest loans for low and moderate-income homeowners to bring their single-family home up to City Code.
