This craft brew is brewed in collaboration with the best local breweries and eateries in Weld County, and other community partners. Enjoy a new England-style session IPA, knowing your purchase will help a local family in desperate need of housing realize their dreams of home ownership. Habitat’s mission is to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness worldwide, working with Habitat Partner families to provide a safe, adorable home with the help of volunteers and their community. All proceeds of the house that Beer Built brew goes directly to the House that Beer Built benefiting the Naing family.
The Naing family consists of Tin Lin, A Kyi, Eli, John, and Cherry the youngest. They are from Burma, Thailand, where Tin Lin and A Kyi met and were married at a refugee camp. Lin was interred for 5 years while A Kyi was interred for 13. The family of 5 is currently living in a 2 bedroom apartment that has unsafe living conditions. The children are kept indoors since the manager requires no children playing outside. So they often visit the park to play. Tin Lin works for JBS and he takes pride in his family and his work. He likes to treat everyday like a new day. The Naing Family will be our Partner family for the House that Beer Built.
The Craft Brew/Food Fest and Burroughs Benefit Concert was on July 14th, 2017. It started the initiative with our awesome partners for the House that Beer Built. It featured the band Soul Solum, and bites from best local eateries and breweries in town. All the proceeds from the event went directly to helping build the House that Beer Built. A generous thank you to the sponsors who helped this event succeed!
