Volunteer Program

With the Volunteer Program, Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity is able to provide affordable housing through the construction labor provided by its volunteers. Volunteers donate their time and services in all areas, including in-kind services, policy development, retail store operations, floor plan design and modification, resource development, family support services, faith relations, and financial management.

Community Service:

We welcome individuals who need to fulfill community service hours. Due to new policies, we will not be able to accept anyone who has a history of theft, violence, or sexual assault no matter the lack of severity of the case or who was actually at fault. A copy of the court documents stating the actual offense and charge is required along with a copy of a valid picture ID.

Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver before they start their service. Unfortunately, we do not accept anyone who is under the age of 17 unless a legal guardian is willing to work alongside the individual. If the person is under the age of 18 and has been legally emancipated, documentation is required before the start of service.
