Construction Committee

Responsible for working with the site selection committee and the Habitat Construction Supervisor. Under the direction of the board, this committee selects the area in which to work and the type of construction that best suits the needs of the local community and Habitat’s goals. The committee proposes guidelines to the board for the type of construction dealing specifically with the house design criteria, materials, and development criteria. Helpful skills include a background in architecture, real estate, building trades, and engineering.

Time Commitment:  Minimum 1 year; monthly meetings
