Enterprise Zone: Donor Tax Incentive

The Enterprise Zone is a program through the State of Colorado that allows individuals/companies whom make monetary (minimum $100) or in kind (minimum $1,000) contributions to a qualified, approved EZ project to claim a state income tax credit.

Effective January 1, 2011 Greeley Area Habitat for Humanity (GAHFH) will internally administer our Upstate Colorado Enterprise Zone program. Previously checks had to be made-out to and routed through Upstate Colorado. Though we will continue to partner with Upstate Colorado for reporting purposes, GAHFH will now directly accept all contributions. You will still be eligible to claim the 25% state tax credit for contributions of $100 or more!  In addition, Upstate Colorado’s administrative fee has been reduced from 2.5% to 1.5%. Not only is there one less step to worry about but even more of your contribution directly benefits GAHFH!
