Habitat for Humanity of Colorado

HFHC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation whos purpose is to assist Colorado Habitat for Humanity affiliates in increasing production of affordable housing through fundraising, training, networking, and technical assistance initiatives.

Monfort Family Foundation

The Monfort Family Foundation is a private non-operating foundation located in Eaton, Colorado. The Foundation has created a legacy in Northern Colorado by committing nearly $50 million to philanthropic activity. Since 2001 the Monfort Family Foundation has sponsored or co-sponsored 20 Greeley Habitat homes.


Greeley Urban Renewal Authority (GURA)

The Greeley Urban Renewal Authority is committed to neighborhood improvement, development, and the maintenance of safe, decent, affordable housing for low and moderate income residents of the City of Greeley.

GURA  has faithfully supported GAHFH since the late 1990’s and has provided financial support through HOME and CHDO grants.  Grant monies have been used for land acquisition, infrastructure, and hard construction rehab costs.  To date, GURA has granted over $1.5 million to GAHFH.

Thrivent Financial

Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity is a multi-year, multi-million dollar partnership between Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Habitat for Humanity International.

Thrivent Financial has helped to build 5 homes in the Greeley Area by contributing over $300,000 to Greeley Area Habitat for Humanity.

Atmos Energy/Schlessman Family Foundation

Atmos Energy is the largest natural-gas-only distributor in the United States. Their regulated distribution operations deliver natural gas to 3.2 million residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and public-authority customers. Their distribution services are provided to more than 1,600 communities in 12 states.
Gerald L. and Florence M. Schlessman established the Schlessman Family Foundation in 1957 for general charitable purposes with interests in human services, civic and community projects.

Atmos Energy has donated close to $200,000 and the Schlessman Family Foundation has donated about $300,000 to GAHFH. In partnership Atmos Energy & the Schlessman Foundation sponsored homes in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2011, and have committed to sponsor another home in 2012.
